I mean, yes, sure there are a ton of actually autistic people in fandom but I'm talking more about the trend of kids believing any dumbass on tiktok all too readily and then self-diagnosing and absolutely REFUSING even the tought of getting an official diagnosis (mainly because they know they probably wouldn't get diagnosed because shit like "I send people gifs and memes, I'm so autistic" or "I don't like a certain food, I'm so autistic" is the extent of their "symptoms".
