Have you read What Moves the Dead by T. Kingfisher/Ursula Vernon? There's a sequel in the works, too.

(Okay, so it's a horror novella and retelling of The Fall of the House of Usher, but the characters and setting are also riffing on Ruritania.)

The best Ruritania thing I've seen even relatively recently was Grand Hotel Budapest. Even that was end stage Ruritaniana.
