AYRT

Heh, I actually have seen some people express surprise that Einhorn wasn't asked back. I would've been fine with seeing him, too, 'cause I liked how he played Freddie on the original "Frasier", but yeah, sometimes things just don't work out that way, so...

And YES to the "ungrateful" comments. Acting can be a lot of fun, for sure, but at the end of the day, it is still a job for these people. And just like any other job, if they decide they're done/want to move on, then they're done and want to move on. And they're allowed to make that choice. It doesn't mean they don't care about the show/their character/their castmates/the fans (sometimes it can, sure, but in most cases it doesn't), it just means they want to go do something else. There's nothing wrong with that.

I do remember hearing the outcry with the Olson twins when "Fuller House" came out, yeah, and I thought that was especially wild in their case, because they were just babies when they started on the original show, and their entire childhoods were spent in the public eye on a grand scale. I do not blame them one bit for ultimately deciding to just kinda stay out of that and not wanting to return to that kind of intense media focus. I'd feel the same way, honestly.

yeah, i get it, media is a very audience dependent form of job. but most of the time you don't get to demand the art other artists do! but i found it especially egregious because it's very clear they left left acting (and even if they hadn't, they way they feel about their coworkers is not the way the audience does. i wouldn't want to work for kelsey grammar for instance regardless)
