Weekend Plans?

What is everyone doing this weekend?

I have some last minute wrapping I need to do for some small gifts, but all of my shopping is over. Since I beat BOTW last night (Ganon was easier than the Divine Beasts), I started a new game called Spiritfarer. So I'll be playing that a bit. I am off until January 2nd so I will mostly be relaxing and such.

Congrats on BOTW! Gannon really is easy compared to the divine beasts, which was a huge relief for me.

I’m baking tomorrow (we had a citywide power outage today) and then making little Christmas boxes for some neighbors. My mother’s sugar cookie recipe is lost forever since she passed away but I found some other treats to make including some cookies that are twisted like candy canes with one piece being chocolate and another peppermint.

Yeah, I only had to do it twice. And the first time was because I forgot how to parry. Lol.

I bet your neighbors love their giftboxes! The chocolate-peppermint cookie sounds delicious.

Sleep mostly. We were going to drive to my aunt's. But I've got a nasty jaw infection, and both of us are just really exhausted. So we're staying home for Christmas.

I'm going to watch some Doctor Who and spend time with the kitty. I think we'll do a Christmas eve service. And then just lots of rest. I'm on a bunch of meds that make me sleepy, plus I can barely eat and have a lot of pain. I just don't feel like doing much, TBH.

Thanks. Honestly don't care about Christmas, but I do have a court hearing next week that I have to be functioning for.

well I got work but since its weekend and Dad won't be going in I should have time to grab a coffee and pain meds in the morning. Hoping that the supervisor I had today has time off for it so I don't have to deal with her again. Aughhh

Then my fam is gonna meet at my sister's house for a celebration with my dad's.. well I guess she's his fiancée now. That'll be nice

Then the family Christmas Eve which tbh I'm not sure will be at Kaiti's place or Dad's I'll have to ask. I do need to know bc I have ingredients for a thing . And I have Monday off bc Christmas. Thank God.

It is so far . For Christmas Eve, I'm making a queso and this cool taco croissant ring that my s.o. gave me the recipe for. They say it's one of their fave recipes their mom makes so I wanted to learn to make it for them when we get together
