So most of my coworkers are so understanding but this one supervisor was like .. Allll on my ass today about working hard enough. If I stopped for a few minutes to talk to a coworker she would tell me it wasn't fair that I was talking and they have to work. (also I swear one time I was able to catch her exaggerating how long I talked to one coworker.)

I would do one huge task and then she'd get on me for not doing another fast enough or for taking the easy way by getting lumber carts closer to the store rather than in the corrals. Like yes? Im walking on a recovering ankle so yeaaaaah Tryna minimize pain here.

At the end she comments that bc I didn't get all the carts in the lot it's "unfair" to the person after me who has to get them (whereas when I need more than a few minutes of rest its "you're being paid to work so work") . Fair? I can almost guarantee that the person after me has TWO fully functional ankles. I have one. They can move twice as fast as I can. So it's totally 'fair'.

And at one point I looked over to where she was talking with a coworker and she told me I was "too young" to hear what they were talking about. ..I'm 34 tho.
Like if she just said it was personal/private I would have respected that . No need to talk like i'm fucking 12.

All in all it was.. a day

I just hope she has the next two days off. for both our sakes.

That sucks. I hate those supervisors that are on power trips to make them feel better about themselves. She needs to get some therapy and stop taking it out on you.

She reminds me of a former boss of mine. I have a report that could only be run in batches of 20 (out of, like, 500) and it would take three minutes exactly to run and then about ten to twenty minutes for me to process the contents before I could put the next 20 in (and then another three minutes to run). So for the three minute run time I would play some sudoku, or check the news or whatever. My boss was like, "Oh no, you need to be working. Update procedures during that time." And I was like... what the hell can I update in three minutes??

I know right. She used to be kinda cool and seemed to care but... idk since she came back from visiting a family member recently she was kinda hard on me. Like she was looking for things to pick at. So i don't know if she's taking something out on me but... Its annoying. I didn't tell her bc I didn't want to look like I was "using it as an excuse' but I was here working on my late mother's birthday because I needed to be and I have bills to pay.

Maybe she has her issues but dammit so do I!
