It’s based on wolves/dogs. If you make the omegas bigger and broader, you’re making the pseudoscience less accurate, not more.

DA but Omegaverse is based on a fantasy understanding or misunderstanding of dog/wolf behavior... The whole notion that wolves have alphas that dominate betas is disproven. That kind of pack pecking order behavior was only observed in captive wolves who were responding to captivity and interacting with other wolves they didn't know. In the wild, wolf packs are based around family units and don't feature dominance behavior other than between parents and children. At least this is how it has been summarized to me. I don't know, nothing about Omegaverse is or needs to be biologically realistic, but people can do what they like. If people want the sizes and dominance to be what they personally find hot, that's a legit motivation IMO... If people want the biology to make sense, that's also a legit approach to worldbuilding.

Since OP is specifically talking about biological accuracy of the comparative sizes of who has the pups and who sires them though, female wolves/dogs are smaller and less bulky than males. And to both your and OP’s point, fandom has decided that the dynamic they like is big, bulky alphas and twinky omegas. So either way, I think OP’s out of luck, but the size aspect is possibly the only part of the biology that ABO gets right.
