Some idiot analyst at work decided to try blocking order placement for over 300 sales reps right before Christmas. What they envisioned as a partial block removed ordering access altogether, and some of the reps that were impacted weren't even selling the products this analyst works with, to boot. Best part is my support team wasn't even told about this project, which is great because my support team oversees the tool many sales reps use for placing orders. It took all my willpower yesterday not to chew out this analyst for his piss poor planning and myopic. It doesn't help that my team is still behind on our main work because we've had several major issues crop up since the beginning of the month, and I was really hoping to start getting caught up yesterday. That didn't happen.
