Re: What were your favorite pieces of media in 2023?

TV: The Bear!! I finally watched the show and season 2 was amazing. (Technically haven't finished "Succession" because I have this avoidant thing with shows I love so I'm eventually going to finish the final episode, but season 4 was AH-MA-zing).

Films: My brain can't conjure anything up so uh....guess I haven't been into films very much this year.

Books: Neither books were released this year but I read them in a span of like 3 days and I re-read them a couple more times throughout the year.
Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer and The Wild Truth by Carine McCandless

Music: I wasn't really checking new music this year.

Podcasts: You're Wrong About in general. If I had to pick favorite episodes in 2023 I'd be listing them all.

YouTube videos: Too many to list. I found a lot of great new channels/videos this year. A lot of long time favorites are still coming out with quality content.
*Tangent: It's been a weird year on YouTube, all the drama...like...the internet has always been and will always be interesting and weird in ways I can't seem to express to my IRL friends who don't care at all for the niche fandom shit I'm into (IE. my friends would not understand at all why I would commit to watching Quinton Reviews' hours long videos on Nick/Disney comedy shows). Also, I'm going to make that leap to Nebula any day now.*
