And I felt judged for preferring tampons over pads, there really is no winning with this kinda shit. (Personally though, the sensory experience of having periods was far worse than any social stuff that went along with it. Maybe this is getting off-topic, but having a hysterectomy was one of the best decisions I've ever made, would recommend.)

Same! And I've tried a menstrual cup and it got stuck! (I also have short fingers, I guess. My boyfriend had to get it out for me.)

But everybody evangelizes for the damn cups. I guess because I prefer tampons and sometimes pads I don't care about the planet or the destruction caused by farming cotton or whatever, I guess. I GUESS.

Oh god this. If I ever see another one of deranged cups fans I am going to bite people.
Also I am really annoyed that apparently I have to have "a learning curve" just to use sanitary products

It's like those people who insist you just HAVE to love their favourite series and when you try it and don't enjoy it they go "oh no no no, you need to watch/read until this point, that's where it gets good" and like, no, I'm not investing hours into something that isn't for me on the off-chance it might get better.
