Fandom: Strong girl Nam-Soon. Character: Ryu Shi-Oh. Tag for spoilers as well, please.

I am once again doomed to enjoy a character where the fandom takes for this guy are... not my vibe at all.

Yes he's a fun character and I liked him a lot, but he is not an innocent little baby who never did anything wrong(he's a mob boss actively making very dangerous drugs), it's not 'bad-writing' or 'OOC' when the show writes him as the villain he is, and the main character is not WORSE than him for wanting to stop him from murdering her entire family as well as other innocent people.

It's like the rest of the fandom never actually watched the show and made up a narrative where he is the main focus and not an antagonist to be thwarted.
