... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best.

Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made. I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

I don't care if it is the most magical perfect anime, or the dumbest Marvel movie, you'll never convince me to watch a sub. Put the spoken dialogue in my own language, or it is entirely skippable. There are multiple audio tracks on the streaming service for a reason.

I like the idea of the BBC show Dodger, but the execution is just godawful. Even for a BBC kids show, it is crap. How does something with such a wealth of talent in the cast and crew be so bad? That wouldn't pass muster in the 70s, never mind the 2020s.

Goldeneye is, statistically, a much better James Bond reboot than Casino Royale ever was. The stats? Number of Times Bond Drifts a Tank: Goldeneye 1, Casino Royale 0. That is just science!

I enjoy the Tom Bombadil section of Lord of the Rings, but I hate Scouring of the Shire. And that is a secret I can never confess in Tolkien-spaces.

It always bugged me in Short Circuit 2 that they had an end shot of Johnny Five getting a citizenship ceremony. If we accept that robots can be US citizens, then he was built in a US military Lab. He already was a citizen through his "birth", he didn't need no ceremony. Yeah, I know, it is a comedy movie about a robot and that is what bugs me? Don't judge me.

I am so not looking forward to the next few years of monster movies where people try to copy Godzilla Minus One by copying the cheapest parts and most superficial aspects of the movie without actually trying to work out why it really worked. This is gonna suck.

The worst sin of modern Star Trek is their decision to give Starfleet the same treatment TNG always gave Worf. The need to have Starfleet broken in order to make the bad guys look tough. And it is working about as well as it did with Worf. It had meaning the first couple of times it happened, but after that it just made Worf look like a pansy. Same with redshirting all of Starfleet, it is at the point now that it is undermining the emotional effect even of the first couple of times they did it, because now it just seems so damn perfunctory at this point instead of awesome and terrifying.

I hope that we're coming to the end of the cinematic era where film makers are so desperate to trick the viewers that they sabotage their own movies to do it. Maybe the next cinematic era will be one where they just tell simple stories with care and skill instead.

If Marvel wants either X-Men or Fantastic Four to be successful in the MCU, Act One of their movie needs to show them beating a full Scarlet Witch level Wanda. Otherwise, they are second rate jokes right out the gate.

The thing I love most about SF Debris as a reviewer is his absolute refusal to show his face on his channel. I hate when youtubers start getting up on screen themselves when reviewing stuff. I like them just making it about the review. Never show you face, Chuck, I love that.

I'm annoyed every time I see Kate Siegel in a Mike Flanagan work. I just hate that kind of blatant nepotism in casting.

What annoys me the most is she's so damn good in those roles!

So help me but What If S02E08 got me craving more (reasonably) well-adjusted Odinsdottir and Odinsons just being typical siblings content. I know we'll never get much because it's not dramatic enough for the MCU, but I can dream and read fic.

I had a HP related argument on Reddit. The other person was clearly reaching for straws and didn't posses the best syntax. I didn't atack them but was sarcastic and factual. Anyway, I noticed that not only their comments are not available anymore (deleted by mods or they just blocked me, idk. I'm new on reddit.) but that the user is Deleted today. And it's Christmas/NY, a dangerous time for people with depression. That got me thinking about all those anti fans with all their weird takes and investement in Internet Strangers' opinions. What if they are mentally ill, unhappy and have a hard life? Was I too harsh with them? Are they modern Don Quixotes, battling their invisible wars?

I am so sick and tired of fanartists who draw characters who are officially canonically non-white as having a darker skintone than they actually do in canon.

It's like people think you don't count as a POC unless your skin is a certain shade of brown. I hate how they can't see how racist that is and tbh it makes me extremely uncomfortable in a lot of fandoms.

every time I hear taylor swift's 'wildest dreams' I have a very vivid mental image of Leia and Han together on Naboo where she's wearing a nice dress and has her hair all down and they're in love but in that doomed-to-heartache way that the sequels hinted at.

Saw a fanfic writer basically decry writing about a dark topic as a whole "disgusting" and it just fired up something in me. So here's a secret:

I'm so sick of people stating their feelings about things like moral absolutes. "you can't write about this, it's gross" "you wrote about this, that's disgusting what's wrong with you" Like it's one thing to say it's gross to write something condoning something but if you just say "writing about this topic is gross and makes you bad" it's just so narrowminded and feels like a slap in the face to people writing about it to process stuff.

The people who do this may think they're making some moral statement but really they're hurting people. Telling already insecure and hurting people they're wrong or gross or disgusting. So I hope people reading this secret think about that. Think about what you're saying and who might see it.

I hate that there are multiple Star Trek shows that are airing simultaneously. It's too much to keep up with and I've lost interest completely.

I'm disappointed that Aquaman 2 is likely going to be less of a flop than The Marvels.
