Posts like this come across as more gatekeepy than some of the actual gatekeepers. I'm sorry people didn't like what you liked, and dared say so. Just let them enjoy the bit they did enjoy. Also, you're coming across as pretty ageist.

I don't see how it's ageist. Different age groups really do behave differently.

This secret isn't protesting against people not liking things. They are protesting specifically against gatekeepers who insist their likes and dislikes are the only correct ones and those who like things they dislike aren't real fans.

How is this gatekeepy and ageist? There's a subset of Gen X dudes that have been awful about Star Wars fandom for as long as I've been in Star Wars internet fandom (so prequels. I was a teenager), and they're still doing it 20 years later. ESPECIALLY about Last Jedi.
