I just typed a wall of text rant about the bombing on the 30th and how it runed my NY, as I learned about it today, and how I hate Reddit for its reaction. But I decided that fs is not a place for this. Still, I think I might hate Reddit now. I started using Reddit for my Genshin builds but should probably stop now so that I'm not tempted to search political topics. There's always GameFAQs

On the 30th there was: an explosion in Detroit that killed 4, there was the Belgorod attack, the Kharkiv attack, the Kirovohrad attack, there was a bombing in eastern Syria, as well as a bombing at a water treatment plant in Aleppo, and in a gym somewhere in the Philippines. So, you know....

Just because there was an explosion in Detroit doesn't mean it came from a bomb, could of been a gas pipe explosion.
But you missed my point about Israel.

No, I didn't. I just ignored it because you missed my point about how there's a shit ton of shit going on, not just Ukraine and Palestine. We have no idea where comment OP is, so we have no idea which of these is the one they're talking about, or even one we haven't heard of. Why mention Israel at all? Was anyone other than you thinking that would seriously be the answer? Considering that Israel hasn't stopped bombing Palestine in two months, I doubt one of 300 bombs Israel dropped that day would be The One to ruin OPs NYE.

See, what gives you away and shows that you're trolling is this hilarious avoidance of what most people know - that Reddit can be a toxic cesspit, and not merely a civilized community where people engage in civil disagreements. People who avoid it have legit reasons.

I've seriously cut back on Reddit - I used to go to a few niche subreddits and a few of the popular ones, and realised I was just getting more and more angry in general. The frustration I felt at how callous and unkind people were really brought me down and I'm a lot happier cutting it out.

I'm more than happy to listen to other people's opinions, but not if it's in an echo chamber of "fuck everyone".

I'm getting closer to giving Reddit up if only because of the bot ratio. The internet as a whole is just getting more and more difficult to take seriously with each passing year.

I don't know if bombings in question are the same that affect my life right now. But I hate how I learn about another shit happening and just shrug at this point. Yeah. Children dying, I will proceed with my holiday celebrations. I've stopped with the news, I try to block most of political discussions etc etc. At this point I just can't take almost anything and just keep ignoring things to survive. And I hate myself a bit for this.
