Um... okay.

Question: if you say the people who've annoyed you on FS who complain about gatekeeping are gatekeepers themselves, isn't that you gatekeeping complaining about gatekeeping?

I think other-izing any group of people is easy for anyone to do and the continual, "No - you're gatekeeping!" back and forth does nothing to address the issue at hand.

If you don't want [insert fandom] gatekeeping to be an issue maybe listen as to why it is an issue and actually consider how others are experiencing fandom rather than finding excuses not to address the issue by accusing the accusers of what they're accusing you of.

Because most times the "the gatekeeper accusers are the real gatekeepers" argument is the only thing I see people respond to gatekeeping allegations.
