I suppose if you at least tag Graphic Depictions of Violence, that gives something to filter out. Still, there are folks who would be willing to read Mature violence levels and would still filter to exclude Explicit violence levels. (I think that’s why my Explicit violent fic ended up at 0 kudos, to be honest.)

I want to be polite about this stuff because it’s AO3 and we can be. You can pick up a game off Steam and be like “holy shit I was not expecting the incest rape,” so I like that there’s one site where you (almost) always know what you’re getting into. (I love Zanki Zero, but it’s a real endurance run.)
