Male mammals are, generally speaking, bigger and stronger than female mammals IRL for a variety of reasons like hunting/gathering/defense against predators and competition for mates.

OP what are you talking about? Male wolves are bigger than female wolves; male dogs are bigger than female dogs of the same breed. And this is true of mammals in general, as well. I'm not sure if you noticed, but the humans who get pregnant are shorter, smaller, and narrower at the shoulders than the humans who "merely sire." I suppose you can think that's illogical, but there must be some reason we evolved the way we did.

I think trying to ascribe real world biology to what is at it's core: kink fic is a losing battle. A/B/O is the way it is because the readers and writers of it like it that way, nothing more, nothing less. So yeah, it doesn't work realistically because it isn't meant to be and people aren't going to invert the tropes because of 'realistic biology' because that's not what they want, and that's fine.

People can subvert standard tropes as much as they want and like, there's a reader-ship for that, but you can't expect the entire fanbase for it to change things because you think it's more 'logical' when it was never operating on logic in the first place.

1. Even supposing Omegaverse was entirely based upon wolves, which it's really not, male wolves are generally larger than female wolves.

2. Most omegas in Omegaverse don't actually have litters, regardless of whether they call their offspring pups or cubs.

3. ABO are still pretty human in biology and I don't know if you've noticed this, but in humans, men can be quite a bit larger than the women. They don't have to be, of course, but it is very common for a man to be taller and broader.

4. It is made-up biology, it is inconsistent between different writers and stories, it sometimes involves some sort of magic. Usually, the reason why the alphas are generally taller and broader is because that's how the writers want them and that's a good enough reason for an imagined 'verse with biology not really based in the real world.

If you want inverted cliches, try writing some omegaverse where women are the alpha and bigger, stronger, all the cliches while men are the omegas. I'd read the shit out of that, TBH, and I hate omegaverse.

The best thing about writing ABO is that you can do whatever you want regardless of kink or plot or both as motivation. No one can stop you and rules for it is as made up as this sub genre itself.

Well, you could call him the Duke of Rothesay, like in Scotland. But since he was known as Prince William of Wales, for the first 29 years of his life and then the Duke of Cambridge for only 11 years (since getting married in 2011), I'm not sure what the problem is.

I feel like opening YouTube is just what you do for video games. Or at least just what I do. Like when I went through the lockpicking tutorial in Thief 3, then had to open YouTube in order to figure out how to pick a lock. Games that explain themselves properly are rare and precious.

I blame at least part of this on Shigeru Miyamoto. People internalized that Miyamoto games are really good because you can figure out how to play them without any explanations. So they take out the explanations of how to play, and they assume just wishing hard enough will make their game design magically become clear enough for people to figure it out without explanations.
