Multiverse of Madness was just a shit idea and a shit movie all round. Wanda's "power level" is not the problem here.

No, it was a good idea. It was just poorly executed. Especially the X-Men/FF/MTVU elements, which were there just to be Worfed. It kinda worked with Xavier, because we had this familiarity and attachment to his character, and they made choices with his character that was consistent with the previous portrayal, but as an introduction to the Fantastic Four and Inhumans, that was just bad. It is hard to take a character seriously as a hero and an actual intelligent person when they went out so easy and like such a dummy in their first introduction. It doesn't show how powerful Wanda was, it just shows how much of a useless moron Reed Richards is. Even the redshirting of Captain Carter was better handled, and her power is she can punch really hard so it was never even a contest there, and she still got a better fight against Wanda.
