What, you think most TV and movie people are there because there was a completely open audition and they cast the absolute best actor for the role?

It's especially funny in this case, because Mike Flanagan has a whole bunch of actors that he clearly prefers to work with, and keeps using them in his serials.

But yeah, in the film and television industry, it's sooooo common for people to specifically work with their friends and loved ones.

I mean, is that really even a surprise? People want to keep working with people they know they work well with and who will give them the performances they're looking for.

Not a surprise to me! It makes perfect sense for a creative field.

Seems like it surprises (or at least annoys) OP, though.
