as much as i would wish to say "i hope you have this energy for the poc characters who get lightened up 20 shades" the fact of the matter is that i wish poc characters could have the same non-reaction as white characters when people color them every which way because the presence and absence of light really does affect skin color that much. like cinderella in her own damn movie goes between orange and the lightest peach, but get a character with a tint and change their color and now it's a ~point~.
