Yeah, there are very few examples of non-linear storytelling I tolerate and even less that I enjoy. Baccano!! was okay doing it but a friend ditched the show because of it and I can understand why.

Best example for me is Arrival. Absolutely necessary to the plot.

da and oooh, yes. That's one where the entire film wouldn't have worked without the non-linear storytelling.
