THAT SONG . God that song is UNHINGED. Like....i hate how often we as a society will see one person ( a man) do something and see it for how abusive it is but when a woman does it it's excused. Like don't get me wrong I get the whole societal power thing and that women still get the short end of the stick like everywhere else .
But when women get treated softer on abusive behavior it leads to large amounts of abuse victims being dismissed , disbelieved or ignored.

Also the fact that she keeps saying probably irrationally irks me because like "you're doing ALL this and you can't even be certain?" Like people have told me it's because he's done it before and she cant trust him now but still. IDK maybe it's one of those literal pedantic things. But it always irks me.

anyway i hope nobody gets mad at me for saying this.

It's honestly this kind of shit that turns me off in anime/Japanese video games. They always treat it as some sort of gag when a woman gets violent and beats the hell out of a guy. This is rarely done when her life/safety is in actual danger (sometimes he refuses to keep his damn hands to himself and deserves it, but I'm talking about over-the-top, disproportionate reactions to situations that just make the woman look crazy and nothing else).

I don't mind listening to the song in the context of "this is a character" but otherwise, it just leaves a bad taste, and it's definitely not empowering.
