He didn't stop that, just started making dozens of iron man suits. Which are weapons. He was just more selective about who he gave them to.

And he used those to save people and protect the planet? Same way as all of the other superheroes using weapons. The only difference is that he's making his own. Nothing wrong with that. That's not the same thing as him selling weapons to the US military, which led to human beings killing each other.

Also sneaking around behind the team's backs to create Ultron, then blaming the team as a whole when it was really him and Bruce who created that danger. Tony thinks he has the right to play God with other people's lives.
