Weekend Plans?

Another cold weekend here. So more gaming (Lethal Company and Phasmaphobia). Might try to finish the main part of my bear I am crocheting. Then I have to learn how to knit to make the poncho for it.

Driving to see family this weekend. One of my folks recently died so I try to take the 4 hour drive out when I can to see the remaining parent and make sure they're doing okay. Not exactly a fun visit, but I think it's good for both of us.

Sleep and rest. On day 5 of a migraine that won't go away. Maybe reading, working on a LOTR reread. I don't think I can handle watching anything.

We're finally above freezing during the day, but the parking lot is still one big block of ice, so we're still iced in. Lots of gaming and reading. Maybe some naps.

I'm the anon reading The Time Traveler's Guide to Medieval England. I've just gotten to places to stay when traveling. I definitely would prefer to stay in a private home. 😭

We’re snowed in still so just more homemade food, family time doing puzzles or playing games, taking the dogs out to play in the snow, and warming by the fire. It’s honestly been amazing <3

I wish I could force my family to play boardgames but one are interested. Wish I had a fire to warm myself by. Cold as hell in my room.

It's supposed to rain all weekend so I'll be indoors.

I might try to cook (I'm thinking baked ziti maybe?) and probably do some reading and watch some TV. Hopefully relaxing!

Oh man, I want to play Phasmophobia so much but I can never get any of my friends to play. One day!

I have been sick for the majority of this week and am just getting better (today was the only day I worked) so Saturday is probably going to be resting and painting. Sunday, however, I got my partner and I tickets to watch a space documentary on Imax at the city science center. I've only watched one Imax movie in my life and I was in elementary school, so I'm super hyped. :D

SO EXCITING. First on Friday night dad is out for the night, spending it with his new ...well fiancee(?) i guess. The lady he's dating. And he'll be home tomorrow at NOON. Which gives me a blank check to stay up like I would on a normal day off.

But when he gets here tomorrow, we'll be loading up the car and moving the remainder of my stuff (and me) to my brother's new place, and I will be MOVED OUT. and moved into my bro's.

I wanna say just like... a car's load if we use the big Nissan van. I'm so excited. There's so much business and events going on and I also feel like moving out to my brother's and getting jobs in the heart of the state can really help me get to a point where I can get with my life partner and be independent and all that.
