Would you say I should just dive in at the start, or do you think there are certain episodes or seasons that might grab me better to start off?

Sometimes first seasons are blah, but later eps will get me and then I'll go back and restart from the beginning when I'm already invested.

So the first season is a little bleh. I actually started with season 2 and then later watched back season 1. So that works. There are episodes from season 1 that are plot-important, but they are mostly explained later on, and you can always look them up if necessary.

Wait, actually, I'd watch the season 1 season final.

The trouble with season one is how it's not great, but you need the scene set for later seasons. Stuff like Delenn's transformation, plus the change in the main cast end up being important later on.

Yes, true. You can find websites that list the ones that are important for plot points.

Sounds like a job for episode summaries.

I'd go with youtube highlights. Otherwise you miss some good nuggets of characterization.
