What is everyone doing this weekend?

My sister got a pergola installed so tomorrow we are going to look at furniture for it. Sunday we will be dying my hair and planning a trip. Monday is the drive home.

Working, but also thinking of making the rounds to some second hand bookstores. They're a bit of a drive, but I wandering through a bookshop treasure hunting for my list of books I'm looking for is my moment of zen.

What color are you dying your hair? I need to either get a haircut or touch up my dye - I have the bottom half of my hair bleached and dyed fun rainbow colors.

I hope you have fun. I love going to used bookstores.

I have a major renovation on pause and the inspector comes Monday after a year of us just throwing stuff in that room to deal with later. This weekend is later *gulp*

It would be a bit better if it had not rained all week! Everything is so wet.

What are you renovating?

Unfortunately one of those days will involve work. I really wanted to back out of it but there is a deadline and it is crunch time, and I'm not the only one working. (Also, my selfish side says it would've looked bad had I refused.)

Otherwise, getting some groceries because all this stress at work has me eating too many acidic foods (but omg it's sooooo delicious) and not enough healthy and nourishing meals. And when you're stressed out, a bad meal just makes it so much worse.

I hope you can get some good groceries. What kind are you looking for?

Hopefully various veggies that I can cook as side dishes and also as part of an entree. Bonus if I can freeze some of it for later. Maybe I'll make salads too.

Rest, mostly. And laundry. Debating whether I want to watch Babylon 5 or Doctor Who.

Hope the rest is good! I've only seen Doctor Who so I vote for that.

Gasparilla is this weekend in Tampa (Think mardi gras with a pirate invasion), so I think I might just try and avoid this weekend.

That sounds exhausting. One good thing about small towns is no huge events like that to clog up areas.

This all sounds fun! Except Monday.

How funny, my partner and I were just talking about pergolas (mostly in that I mixed up the words pergola and pagoda lmao). Does she have a theme for the interior or are y'all gonna wing it? What color are you dying your hair?

The was a three day weekend for me! This morning, we got and took the little dog for a walk through one of my favorite neighbors in Seattle, got coffee, and tried to find a crystal shop that we can find the signs for but not the shop itself. I made for dinner and it was so, so tasty. I think tomorrow is going to be a pretty chill day at home, although you've inspired me to finally use the box dye I bought months ago, so thank you for that!

Sunday I'm meeting up at a coffee shop with a group of artists and we're going to basically sit around drawing for a couple of hours. I'm excited!

That sounds like a relaxing weekend. I am hoping to visit Seattle this year for the first time. Must be awesome to live there.

There's definitely some drawbacks, but on the whole I enjoy it. :)
