I got quite used to the hair, so it doesn't bother me. I guess they thought the original hairdo would also maybe look a bit too goofy? They definitely could have something else with it, instead of going the "let's just look at the voice actor" route (kinda related: I have not met a single person who has cared about who voice acted an animated character. I sure don't. I do prefer them using professional voice actors instead of 'actors whose name can be recognized in the credits'. Tho, I did grow up in a country that dubs everything so I super extra never cared and now still don't when I'm watching the original audio.)
