Only semi-related but I need to yell because I was on Byler twitter last weekend and saw somebody claim the show has been teasing Byler since Season 2. Season 2? Where Mike was a prick to everyone because of how much he missed El? Season 2 that ends with Mike and Eleven kissing? I feel like I’m watching a completely different show than everyone else!

RIGHT? Like s2 certainly hammered Will's crush on Mike home, and Mike wasn't yet in his Ignoring All My Friends All The Time era, but it was in no way setting up that they would get together.

It's the kind of thing I would have loved when I was a tween but when I was a tween I never expected my gay ships to be canon I just enjoyed things.
