I was being honest when I said I personally am okay with roleplays with bigoted characters, but I also honestly would have questions for someone who showed up and immediately said they wanted to do a bigoted character.

Yeah, it's the fact that they keep repeatedly insisting that their character HAS to be a bigot that's sending up huge red flags for me. You can play a character who is just a general asshole and have the exact same sort of character arc for them. Why is it so important to them that their character be bigoted/intolerant?
