I don't care much for a lot of anime, so much of it is WTF for me (not that there hasn't been western animated media that I feel the same way about). But there are still things I've liked - The Mysterious Cities of Gold, an anime version of Little Women (there's more than one out there), and some Ranma 1/2. Vampire Hunter D was okay, if dour. I have watched a couple of other things and did not like them at all. I've seen clips and heard about a fair amount of anime and even looked some stuff up because the niblings are into several series and like related gifts.

It's something I'm pretty disinterested in, but it doesn't make me rage that other people are into it. It would exasperate me if it was the only thing others posted about in multi-fandom spaces, but I think I would either figure out a way to ignore it when other people are caught up in it, take a break from those particular spaces for a while, or find a way to curate my fandom experience to mostly avoid it.
