What is something in a social media account bio (Instagram, TIkTok, etc.) that may make you worry about that account owner's mental health?

I mean, "official" is not subjective. It can suck rancid donkey balls and still be official, if the creator deems it so.

Like I know all fiction is fake (source: it is fiction) but if we're deciding which fake stories are and aren't real fake stories, we're gonna need a different measure, other than quality.

Video game technology is better.

Less people live in poverty and hunger, violence is down worldwide, child mortality rates are better, maternal mortality rates are better, child labor rates are declining (while education increases) more of the World is using renewable energy, and life expectancy is up.

Go to Goodreads, you'll find plenty who agree with you there. But I have to say, it must be exhausting deciding everything written in a slightly different format from the standard is "pretentious."

Strangely, gas prices (at least in some areas). There a couple wild spikes in 2021 or so, but the last couple years have been surprisingly manageable.

I'd also venture that conversations around news quality have gotten both better and more mainstream. There are more entities devoted to assessing bias in news reporting and helping people understand it clearly. I also see some efforts by smaller news aggregates to mitigate loaded language in their setups/communications.

It’s been years since I’ve looked forward to any media and this year I have live action ATLA (which looks amazing), Deadpool and Wolverine (which looks really good and fun and exactly what it should be), and now this! I feel spoiled but also kinda nervous, like I am just waiting for each one to come out and totally suck.

All of the lighter and more comedic X-Files episodes are amazing. Bad Blood is my favourite (I know that's the boring choice) and this one is right up there too.

I miss the the back to school sales when all the school supplies would be on clearance. Now all the school supplies get sold out before summer break starts.

Disagree. I like current music. I also like old music. Give me all the music. And every era has terrible songs that are popular, it is just that they don't stick around in public conscience.

Politics. Ever since Trump, the absolute worst instincts seem to rule, particularly on the right side of the spectrum, but in some ways on both sides. And people feel free to be vocally racist, sexist, etc. Of course that stuff has always existed, but for at least a decade it was overall less overt. Also, conspiracy theories have become more mainstream.

i've never been involved in the fandom, but after being a fan of the old video game for years and going on a deeep lore rabbit hole, i was JUST thinking i kind of wanted to post some fanfic for V:TM right before opening F!S...maybe not?

I've never really given it any thought despite shipping it back in the day...huh. I feel like Light would top because of a power play (service top what) but hate it. Kind of like dating girls lmfao. But I also feel like penetrative sex would be out of the picture for both in a "real" relationship, idk. Perhaps I am now thinking on this too much?
