I quickly learned that concerts are not for me (I have pretty sensitive hearing and I don’t like a lot of people in my personal bubble), so I’ve only been to two, both as a teenager - one was an outdoor venue, the other was indoors. I think all of this probably still holds true.

Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes. You’ll be standing and there will be a lot of people close by, it’s easy pretty easy for feet to get stepped on.

You might want to bring hearing protection, even just the little foam ear plugs. There is a lot of noise at concerts - crowds and feedback can be really loud. If you find you don’t need them, that’s fine, but if you do, you have them. I couldn’t hear right for three days after the indoor concert.

It’s really annoying to have to keep track of a purse or a bag, so consider wearing an outfit with lots of pockets to fit most of what you need to bring with you.

Maybe look at a map of the venue before you go and figure out where the nearest bathrooms are to where you’re going to be. Then look at the next nearest and the next (if you’re near a main entrance, there could easily be lines).

Seconding ear protection!!
I loved concerts (not so much now) but I couldn't get through them without ear plugs. They clean out a lot of feedback so you will much greater sound!
