I wish it were interesting criticism though, or that the people wailing about how Tracker was Too Mean To Kirsten, or Kirsten is Toxic And Abusive To Cassandra could make any point other than 'I don't understand what comedy is, how improv works, or why adults with teenage characters are making different choices than you, an actual 15 years old (I have to assume that these idiots are all still in school) would have made in real life.'

Mind you, I did see someone on reddit justify the (inane, unjustified) hate that Emily gets by describing Fig as "predatory & rapey" which is just so wonderfully stupid that it delighted me. That's discourse baybey!

Personally I think much of this could have been avoided if the Bad Kids had just beat Jawbone to death with hammers in S1 thus shutting the door firmly on The Worlds Best Therapy Dad.

Aww people are hating on Emily? She seems so fun and nice!

She dropped off social media after A crown of candy because a lot of people really hated Sacharina, and also thought that she, Emily the person, was being "mean" by causing tension around the table. (they're actors! they're playing a game! and crucially, they're not your actual friends!). It got really nasty at times.
