Yeah, the whole Crunchyroll thing sucks. Even if it’s a digital copy that came with a physical DVD, I deserve to keep my digital copy. And after they cannibalized RightStuf, it’s gotten harder to buy affordable physical media for anime, so to the high seas we go.

From what I heard and the little I know Crunchyroll pretty much did a hostile takeover of RightStuf. Potentially also Nozomi Entertainment as well-they certainly well and truly fucked up the Dirty Pair kickstarter Nozomi was doing in collaboration with RightStuf at the very least.

Oh, that really, really sucks. I loved Right Stuf back in the day, and the Dark Lord Sean was so kind and helpful when there was an issue.
