I just want more stories with people 30+. But yeah, 30s is when I got my shit together and definitely peaked. The 40s however are hitting me real hard, mentally and physically.

As someone who never looked their age (someone thought I was on a post high school graduation trip when I was 32) suddenly I both feel and look my age and that is one cruel joke. It is like it all hit at once when I turned 42.

It was 52 for me, but I feel this.

My vision went to hell in my 40s, though.

Man, I was a goofy-looking kid, and still pretty weird in my teens and twenties. I felt like my ears and my nose were all too big for my face. Lo and behold, I'm 33 now and all the same features actually work together. (Or maybe I've just gotten used to seeing my own fact after three decades of it, lol)

For sure. In my 20s and most of my 30s I thought I peaked in high school even though I had a horrible time as a teen.
But I reasoned that people either peak in high school and crash or hit a nice stride in their 20s and it's smooth sailing from there. And my 20s were a fucking shit show, as were my 30s when I was in my early 30s...so I guessed my best days were in my teens and I'd be a loser forever.
Enter my mid30s and I feel like people treat me better, I feel better about myself, and I feel like I'm just starting my journey :)
