Except nobody is going to pay a disabled person for putting prompts into an AI programm, they'll just do it themselves. Because it literally takes zero skill and there probably are AIs that generate useable prompts for art AIs so no ~disabled person~ is going to survive with the help of AI. Quite on the contrary, actually.

You are right, they won't. And corporations that control AI are looking to screw everyone over when it gets sophisticated enough to make them all the money. Those were never things I was trying to refute. I was pushing back against OPs who made up stories about the disabled or blamed and villainized them for using AI.

"I was pushing back against OPs who made up stories about the disabled or blamed and villainized them for using AI"

uh... was I? I don't think I was...
Jesus, I may be even worse than I thought I am in trying to write out stuff.
I honestly just wanted to say that art has a meaning (as in, it becomes what I think is "good art") when people put some kind of effort in them.
Relying too much on AI to produce polished drawings and paintings without putting effort to express oneself in any other artistic way will hurt everyone, our creativity and the meaningful role that art can have in every people's life in the long run.

But I do think the internet is just not for me at this point. I'm tired. I'm really sorry I made people uncomfortable.

signed, thread OP.
