I feel this way about most romance books in general. I would love more gay romance books in the style of Nora Roberts or Jayne Anne Krentz or Jennifer Crusie etc.

But yeah, queer dramatic faery stories - I would be all over that.

Big same. I had been waiting to read TGCF until the last volume was released, and by the time I got around to it like... I could see BeefLeaf in maybe the first arc? But then after the arc where SECRETS ARE REVEALED!!11!! it was so underwhelming that I wonder if BeefLeaf was pair-the-spares desperation for people who didn't care about the main ship.

There didn't even seem to be that much to use as a springboard for fic, unless you go directly for AUs and throw canon compliance to the wind (lol).

Aww. I haven't read TCGF yet but my sister has, and hearing about the REVEAL made me think this ship would be right up my alley. Seeing this secret and the responses makes me think I will be very wrong on that account. :0(

I love this take <3 I’ve only encountered the sarcastic form within the last 6 months so for me the phrase is still very much a positive one that just means unplug and spend some time in nature. (Even though turf grass is extremely unnatural lol)

After watching this video ("Drake Vs Kendrick Lamar - The 100% Full Story Explained" - What's the Beef on Youtube),
1)this beef went on longer than I thought
2)makes me understand why Kendrick dismisses Drake
Drake taking Kendrick's bars in "Control" in a pissy way and then following that up with a couple diss tracks displayed immaturity from Drake.
I think what really got to Kendrick was Drake suddenly wanting to squash the beef.
It was a punk move for Drake to get pissy, come out with diss tracks, and then when he felt like he was OK, he thought the beef could end on his terms.
Kendrick IMO just continued to keep losing what little respect he did have for Drake as time went on.
Drake is still seeing the world as the cool guy who has to keep finding ways to keep that label, because what does he have outside of that? Kendrick is taking his craft with him to a place of art and poetry They're not the same.
Drake lost control of the narrative here a long time ago and he would do well to just leave Kendrick's name out his mouth

Texture is very popular in visual design right now, in fashion and interior decorating especially. There's a lot of interest in being able to see materials and in layering to create dimension. This trend may be part of that overall trend. I think also with journaling in particular there's a trend towards faux messiness, as a sort of response to the popularity of very organized, neat journaling? Of course it's also just a taste thing as you said... I can definitely see why this trend isn't for you, especially when it's overdone or done seemingly without a reason.

It was a simpler time, with a smaller community, and people by those who unironically loved their stories and their community instead of those who were only there to compete with each other in who could be the biggest jerk or push their own little agenda the farthest. These days it'd just be outrage fodder.

God, fandom sucks these days.

I will add it to my rewatch list! I had so much fun watching the other favorites people listed last time there was an X-Files secret. It's been so long I only vaguely remember episodes so I never quite know where to start when I'm in the mood to revisit X-Files, and I'm not up for a straight through marathon.

For fuck's sake, if you actually care about artists and their livelihoods and have ever actually spent two seconds of your day listening to them then you'd know exactly why AI art is in fact not the same as using digital paint programs.
