Tbh this seems like a very country-specific thing as well on my end? I'm not in the US and while there's the usual generational gaps of my younger coworkers not knowing bands I did as a teen, by in large no one really cares what generation you're born in? It's not a personality trait that people online in the US seem to make it.

The most I've seen is some people my age doing the 'kids these days' thing but I think that's an unfortunate facet of some people growing old where they think the current teens are all degenerate morons or something because they're young. Or that they all need to get beaten in order to behave(yay generational trauma!).
