You mean did I tune into mainstream radio stations on occasion over the last decade or so and not recognize anything, but listen to it anyway? Yes. I've also read various reports about how mainstream music is mostly samey due to the majority of hit songs being written by the same two or three people.

Notice I am saying MAINSTREAM music. You can still find decent music in other places.
