Questions to consider

Do you want animals down the road (pets or farm animals like chickens etc)?
Do you have the energy and spare time to deal with both land and fixing the house? Either one takes a lot, but if you have the time and enjoy that type of stuff it could be worth it.
Personally, I love older fixer uppers and one of my main desires in a house is land, so the answer if it were me would be obvious. But its a super personal desicion and could go either way!
