My impression was it was cool to hate on Marvel, but Deadpool is the cool exception.

Idgaf about fandom etc but I am tentatively excited for the next Deadpool!

I don't like either MCU or Deadpool much but MCU has a certain all-consuming cultural presence that makes it a lot more annoying to me. The fact Deadpool is it's own thing off to the side makes a big difference.
