I don't mind movies having a sequel, but I do always prepare myself for the worse, especially with modern Disney. I loved Moana, so I do hope they at least make something interesting...

There was an absurd beauty in the straight-to-DVD Disney sequels of the past, but yeah I mostly agree that certain movies don't need sequels and the Disney cartoons are those movies.

My impression was it was cool to hate on Marvel, but Deadpool is the cool exception.

I don't like either MCU or Deadpool much but MCU has a certain all-consuming cultural presence that makes it a lot more annoying to me. The fact Deadpool is it's own thing off to the side makes a big difference.
