When they do the literal murdering in a scene and go 'ohohoho now play MURDER ON THE DANCE FLOOR!' with the belief that's great cinema.

I like that song. Good beat, good vocals, and it's fun to sing "gonna burn that goddamn house right down!"

The strings are great!

I was really surprised to find out that the songwriter was the guy from New Radicals who wrote "Get What You Give", one of my most disliked songs for being dreary, self-congratulatory and ubiquitous.

I loved that song when it first came out but the lyrics are pretty simple and repetitive. Not sure who is reviewing it, but its had a resurgence thanks to saltburn so that might be why its popular again.

I liked the song when it originally came out. Deserves some people on this side of the Atlantic to know about it. (I lived in Europe when it first came out but now live in North America.)

I heard this song years ago (after it came out, but during a time when Facebook was somewhat relevant) and I loved it! It introduced me to the rest of her work. It's a fun bop and I still like the 'edge' lol.

My own secret is that I've been quietly (until now) resisting the desire to say 'you only heard it now? bc of some shit movie? or on the radio? I already knew this song'. I wouldn't tell people this IRL bc it's great maybe they're going to find her music as I did once.
