True. But it is also true that it is okay if people like parts that you hate and think those parts are actually really good.

Yep.

Also, if they think they suck, but it's just that that work is low quality, not that you should never do anything with that character. (Discussion of Morbius, Madame Web, Blue Beetle, and the upcoming Kraven movie drive me nut for just that reason...as someone who's often a big fan of second, third, and fourth-tier characters, the 'who thought this was a character worth doing?' element gives me the sads.)

From what I understand, the Blue Beetle movie was actually pretty decent and had some heart to it?

Not really the best phrasing on my part - should have been more clear I was seguing into annoyance at people thinking 'they're not super-popular headliners, they shouldn't have a movie'.

I understand, now. That is annoying. I think any character can work well in a movie and be profitable if that movie is done well. I remember when people threw fits about the Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man getting movies. It was obnoxious. A lot of it was jealousy that their faves weren't getting movies.
