That seems on brand for HP fandom tbf. Both the people binding the fics and the idiots buying them.

All these secrets the last few months about drama in bookbinding are actually all HP secrets. If any of those binders mix with the larger binding community, they do a fabulous job hiding their work. They wouldn’t be welcome for a million reasons.
