I was in MCU fandom and I used to be a fandom completist, but I just had to back away for the sake of my own free time (and not caring as much about characters who weren't in phase 1 or who are going off into other things, tbh). I don't go looking for Guardians of the Galaxy fic and I haven't seen the second Loki series.

People just have to make the decision to back away if it gets annoying and enjoy the parts of the fandom they have the energy to be involved with.
