Krampus is fun. Honestly if it is CHristmas and horror I will probably enjoy it. But Krampus is my fave.

Also, if May Day counts as a holiday, Wicker Man is an obvious choice. Original, obviously.

Wicker Man is my third favourite after Event Horizon and The Thing. You have great taste! :D

The Thing is definitely in my top ten. I think Alien is number 3 for me. Maybe. It is between that, Halloween, and Pan's Labyrinth.

In general I never watch horror, but my holiday fave is Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale. It's more of a fantasy/comedy, could be too light for true horror fans. It's also Scandinavian, so avoids a lot of the tropes of U.S. horror movies that squick me.

A Christmas Horror Story is a fun anthology from 2015.

Black Christmas (1974) is a classic and one of the first slasher films.

Christmas Evil (1980) is a great horror that is bizarre (almost a comedy).

Halloween (1978), naturally.

For Christmas, probably Gremlins.

Thanksgiving - Addams Family Values

Easter - Critters 2: The Main Course

Valentine's Day - My Bloody Valentine (2009) [it's not great, but it's the only Valentine's one I've seen]

New Year's - Terror Train [also not great, but it's the only New Year's one I've seen]

Fourth of July - Jaws, with an honorable mentions for Final Destination 3 and Silver Bullet (man, there are a lot more horror movies set or partially set around Independence Day than I thought)
