This is such a silly argument. In any kind of progressive area, it's perfectly socially acceptable to be nonbinary, and it shields peoole from a lot of the criticism that white women get in the same spaces. It's also in many ways the more comfortable identity, since the parameters for being a "woman" have narrowed and been aggressively pornified. Being able to check out of a sexual and dating culture that treats women like disposable fucktoys is worth not being taken seriously outside of one's social circle.
