Yeah, I hear you. Doomsday preppers ruin a lot of stuff that sounds interesting to me, like buildings stuff, preserving food, homesteading, etc. Anything pioneer-like gets tainted with their BS.

I enjoyed The Untamed and am fond of Wangxian, but not really active in fandom re: reading/writing fic, etc. But dang, it must be hard to be into The Untamed/MDZS when you hate the two main characters and their juggernaut ship!

Can't help you with Xue Yang and Xiao Xingchen. I can see why people might be into it, especially if they're into messed up relationship dynamics, though.

I'm genderqueer and I hate those neo pronouns. I appreciate the idea behind it, but so far all options suck. I'm all for adding an option but until we can come up with something good I'd rather stick with he/she/they.
