Wow, what did Neuro/Yako shippers do to you? I haven't read the series myself, and from what little I've heard from my brother who read it, Neuro isn't really shippable, but come on, people are gonna ship what they like. There are worse pairings out there /O/

I'm not in fandom (I didn't even realize there WAS a fandom) so I guess I wouldn't know. I ship Neuro/Yako, but damn, that just takes the cake.

Normally I'm a big fan of twisted pairings, but I don't really get Neuro/Yako; the sadism is just for laughs and doesn't seem to have any sexual undertones at all. Neuro is a pretty alien and asexual character to me, really, so I have a hard time shipping him with anybody.

Besides, why bother with Neuro/Yako when there's the utterly adorable Higuchi/Yako off in the corner and almost entirely ignored and unloved by English-speaking fandom? ♥

Welcome to starting a fandom. It is not your house, it cannot obey your rules. If you scanlated the series thinking that many, if not most of the fandom would entertain your particular interests, then you went into it with dead expectations.

I think the fandom would, in general, want to thank you, but I doubt you'd take it seriously if it came from the wrong sort of shipper.

ET? Is it one of ET? Because this nazi-esque "NIEN SHIPPING IN MY PURE FANDOM" behavior sounds a lot like the original scanlator, and it would make sense that ET would make such a secret seeing as they "started it." I agree, some of our fandom is a lot dumber than I'd like to admit, but by no means is it the "worst fandom ever." IIRC, the shippers, dumb as their ship is, never really argued with anyone about anything, and it was the owner of the Comm that started nagging at everyone about NeuroxYako. Stupid shit to be arguing over, really.
