Welcome to starting a fandom. It is not your house, it cannot obey your rules. If you scanlated the series thinking that many, if not most of the fandom would entertain your particular interests, then you went into it with dead expectations.

I think the fandom would, in general, want to thank you, but I doubt you'd take it seriously if it came from the wrong sort of shipper.

Yup, I do appreciate the hard work people have put into translating this series, but people should do it because they love it themselves, it shouldn't matter what the rest of the fandom thinks of the series. Isn't that what a fandom is? We all love the series itself whether we ship Neuro/Yako or not, what do you care if people ship it?

Yeah. And people who ship different pairings are going to be a given, so talk about saving a lot of energy by not caring.

It's the "having the cake and eating it too" mentality. So maybe the cake started out vanilla, and now it's a little heavy on the chocolate. It's still cake and not, say, a rock. Scanlator is screaming that the world should be chocolate-free instead of enjoying the cake and, yeah, maybe eating around the chocolate if they hate it that much.

IDK, man. It's just cake. It's just fandom.
